What is prose?

Prose refers to a form of written or spoken language that is not structured into poetic verse.

It is the ordinary form of written or spoken language that is used for everyday communication, such as novels, essays, letters, and articles. Unlike poetry, which often uses meter, rhyme, and other formal elements.

prose typically follows a natural flow of language and can vary in length, style, and complexity.

Prose can be both fiction and non-fiction and is often used to convey information, ideas, and emotions in a straightforward and direct manner.

Prose also allows for a greater degree of freedom than poetry. While poetry is often constrained by rules of meter and rhyme, prose has no such restrictions, allowing the author to express themselves in any way they see fit.

thus the correct option is B.

The trouble with option 2 was that the venting might push the fuel to an unstable condition. Or, another possible outcome of the “burping”: what if the landing gear hadn’t deployed correctly? Could any movement, or any resulting burst—no matter how small—tip the LM over? Many a voice in the debate thought the safest option was to abort—now! But that opinion was quickly overruled by the Grumman and NASA leadership (who were confident of the landing gear), and the consensus of the leaders was that it would be safe to gently, gently burp the engine.

What is meant by anecdote?

A coworker just shared an anecdote about how her cat only comes downstairs at a certain time of the night when a group of coworkers are chatting about their pets.

Anecdotes are brief narratives on engaging subjects, usually with a single theme or message. Despite how much they resemble the tales told among friends, the use of anecdotes in writing can accomplish more than just pass the time.

Anecdotes provide conversations and communication personality and curiosity. Usually, their use is intended to make the audience laugh or elicit more introspective responses from other characters or the audience as a whole.

Personal opinion.

It depends. If you feel by giving up some of your freedom for protectin and promises from the government, you would see it is fair. It is an even exchange between the people and the government.

You could also argue the government does not hold up their end of the contract, making it unfair. You would need examples to back up.

Personally, I think it is fair, as long as both sides hold up their end of the contract.

Describe what you think of as the typical millionaire. How did (s)he get her/his money? What is her/his lifestyle? What level of education did (s)he attain?

Answers

Answer:

I think that most millionaires don't earn their money, rather it's family money. Someone in their family probably ran a smart business or was an actor so it gives the family money and publicity. Either way the family now knows what decisions would make them most money and what they can do to make themselves better in the public's eye. Take into consideration Donald Trump. His father was a businessman and made enough money that his family was good for the rest of their lives and also gave Trump a head start so he can easily start new businesses and earn money.

Is democracy profitable to everyone in society

Answers

Answer:

The answer is below

Explanation:

What is democracy? It is simply a means of selecting a leader based on majority votes, or through some selected representatives in the republic or indirect democracy. However, this does not outright translate to profitability to everyone or citizens of a country.

Through democracy, the country may still vote for incompetent leaders. There is also the issue of voting out a competent leader, issue of stability of continuation of policies that may benefit citizens, which may be discontinued by subsequent leaders.

Hence, Democracy is not profitable for everyone, and here are the reasons:

1. Inequality: there are still social and income inequalities even in societies where democracy is practiced. This inequality favors the rich among the citizens, and with their wealth, they influence the choice of people that will be in power and the eventual policies they make which empower the rich more.

2. Poverty: while democracy is supposed to reduce poverty through social equality, the inherent corrupt practices and favoritism or nepotism among the public office holders is now contributing to the level of poverty among the lower class of the citizens, thereby increasing the division in the general level of inequalities among people.

3. Quality education: for most countries, especially countries in Africa that are practicing democracy, the quality of education is only getting worse. Even in America, good public schools are not getting better, with research showing that students who attend a private school have a probability of having better university access and career opportunities after graduation.

4. Social justice: democracy is supposed to give every citizen equal access to justice, wealth, health, and opportunities regardless of their social and political class. But this is not reality. The rich have access to better health facilities, can acquire the finest of legal practitioners available, and access to business opportunities, even despite democracy being practiced.

Democracy is not profitable to everyone in society.

Democracy is a system of government whereby there's equality, freedom and the people can choose who they want in power.

When people choose a leader, they believe that the leader should see the affairs in the society and ensure that everything is okay.

This isn't always the case, there are some leaders who are corrupt, and therefore, seek their own advantage rather than doing things that will be beneficial to the society as a whole.

Also, there are still issues of inequality and injustice that happens in society. The wealthy ones still cheat the poor and, this isn't good for a democratic government.
