EXPLAIN:
Out of the belly of Christopher’s ship
a mob bursts
Running in all directions
pulling furs off animals
Shooting buffalo
shooting each other
left and right.
Father mean well
Waves his makeshift wand
Forgives saucer-eyed Indians
Red coated knights
gallop across the prairie
to get their men
to build a new world
Pioneers and traders
bring gifts
Smallpox, Seagrams
and Rice Krispies
Civilization has reached
the promise land.
Between the snap crackle and pop
of smokestacks
and multicoloured rivers
swelling with flower powered zee
are farmers sowing skulls and bones
and miners
pulling from gaping holes
green paper faces
of smiling English lady
The colossi
in which they trust
while burying
breathing forests and fields
beneath concrete and steel
stand shaking fists
waiting to mutilate
whole civilizations
ten generations at a blow.
Somewhere among the remains
of skinless animals
is the termination
to a long journey
and unholy search
for the power
glimpsed in a garden
Forever closed
Forever lost.

Conflicts are a way to share characters' thoughts and feelings.
Conflicts are used to introduce the resolution of the story.
Conflicts lead to more plot events as well as character reactions.
Answer:
D. Conflicts lead to more plot events as well as character reactions.
Explanation:
Without conflict in the story, there's no excitement or major events to occur. There really isn't a plot without a conflict to propel it, other wise the story would be boring. First answer is wrong, conflicts do not introduce the resolution. That is what the falling action does. The falling action takes place after the conflict and leads to the resolution by resolving the conflict.
Correct on Edge too. Here's proof.

Who can tell me what they learned about Maine idea? Atleast a paragraph! Please.
Answer: The main idea is the point of the paragraph. It is the most important thought about the topic. To figure out the main idea, ask yourself this question: What is being said about the person, thing, or idea (the topic)? The author can locate the main idea in different places within a paragraph. The main idea is usually a sentence, and it is usually the first sentence. The writer then uses the rest of the paragraph to support the main idea.

Answer:
B). "and of every man that has any claim or affinity to the name of Christian"
Explanation:
In the given excerpt from "Thoughts and Sentiments", the above text detail most appropriately backs Cugoano's belief that 'All Good Christians who are enlightened must participate in the abolition of slavery' as it reflects that it is the moral and obligatory duty of 'every man that has any claim or affinity to the name of Christian.' This text detail justifies that the author's claim. He asserts that this traffic i.e. human slavery cannot be admitted anywhere or to any degree and enlightened Christians must come forward to put an end to this dehumanizing treatment of Africans. He claims that this inhuman practice that is against sensibility, as well as humanity, must be stopped, and thus, people must resign to this barbaric act. Therefore, option B is the correct answer.

Should everyone speak English? Can someone do a pre-writing, Rough Draft, and Final Draft
Answer:
Should everyone speak English? No. Nobody should be forced to speak a language that they either don't need or want to or they are uncomfortable with.
Explanation:
While English is extremely useful as a second language, and people in non-English speaking countries who are considering learning a second language would do well to consider English, there are other languages worth considering too. Someone interested in technology might want to study Japanese, and someone interested in medicine might want to study Latin. But yes, English is very useful.
However, it is not absolutely necessary to know a second language, as the millions of US citizens who do not know one can attest.
Is it necessary for everyone in the US to speak English? I don’t believe it is. English has always been a nation of immigrants, and as such, a nation of many languages. English proficiency should not be required to get a green card. The US welcomes refugees, and should not allow them to wonder and lose sleep over their status if they are having trouble mastering English. If they have a legitimate reason for their refugee status, then that is all that should matter.
Perhaps the requirement of English for citizenship is not a bad idea. Honestly, I am on the fence about this. I think it is possible to be a loyal citizen and speak another language; on the other hand, English proficiency shows a certain amount of dedication. Maybe the standard should be for conversancy, and not fluency. I know lots of people who get by just fine in English who could not work as simultaneous interpreters. The “proficiency” needs to reflect real-world considerations, and not ideals.
