What's tone of the poem "the hill we climb"

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

Hope and Progress

Explanation:

"The hill we climb" is a poem written by Amanda Gorman. It was written for Joe Biden's inauguration as President of the United States.

The poem tried to depict a country that is aspiring not for perfection, but for continuous, ongoing improvement.

The writer believed that despite the constant struggles and conflicts, the country still continues to make PROGRESS by climbing the HILL of justice and equality.

Similarly, Amanda wrote the poem in such a way that depicts HOPE. That is, even though the struggles and conflict of the United States can't be solved in a day, the people shouldn't give up HOPE that the country would become a better place in the long run.

Do you need to make a major change in the world to leave a legacy ? 7 sentences pleaseee

Answers

Answer:

No, a major change is not the only requirement to leave one's legacy.

Explanation:

Leaving a legacy means leaving some good and important qualities and ways of life to the next generation. In some ways, it also means leaving some inheritance such as money or assets but it implies more to the good qualities that one influences.

Leaving a legacy doesn't necessarily require a person to have a huge impact and change on others. Some will indeed leave a lasting influence and change while most just did what they love and that became influential for others. The most important thing is to do what one loves, sincerely and with love and care. And then, whether that gesture leaves a change on others or not depends on the people's perception and receiving attitude.

So, in my opinion, it is not necessarily required to make a major change to leave a legacy.

I JUST NEED A HOOK

Answers

Answer:

Welp, i don't see the reason you would need a hook for a writing assignment like this. Just search up African Americans who lived in the 1800s that made great achievements or contributions. I am doing it on Frederick Douglass and you really only need to search his importance, accomplishments, what he was remembered for, his influence on others, and really, that's just it. And then add a couple transition words and make it into a intro, body paragraphs, and conclusion essay and that's it!

I don't like essays or writing assignments, like, not at all. But once you start it, it's not that hard!

Answer:

im answering with the prewritting first then i will write the rough draft and final draft maybe in the comments, but for now here is the prewritting

Explanation:

Frederick Douglas is one of the most known people in history as along with Harriet Tubman.  Harriet tubman was known for being a caregiver and many other things but the thing she was known for the most was helping more than one hundred of African Americans through the Underground Railroad. Harriet's Exact amount of people she helped is 300 without anyone getting hurt or dying. Harriet tubman was born in Dorchester County, Maryland, she grew up in a town called Bucktown.

There she was put to work like the other children at the age of twelve, she would do field work and other things like hauling logs. At the time Harriet was also a spy for the Combahee River, this was very important to Harriet just as much as becoming Conducter of the Underground Railroad. So when harriets master died in 1849 this is when she made her move, and the rest is, well, history.

Hii tell me what yall think about this assignment I have to do it's about the book hatchet if I need to change anything please tell me Body paragraph 1

First, In the beginning, Brian was scared and didn't know how to take care of himself, and he was scared because he didn't have anything else to rely on except for him and a hatchet. Brian was always thinking about how his mother cheated and that took him to mind off of things that were more important like his safety or how he was gonna eat some type of food. When Brian first got into the woods he was scared and cold and all torn up and he was hurt. The text states ¨he was also weak. Just the walk around the back of the ridge and the slight climb over the top had left his legs rubbery. Brian was hurt, he could barely walk and he was still hurt from the plane crash. But When he started to get used to it and at that point knew what to do when seeing a wild animal he was a pro when he encounters wild animals

Body Paragraph 2

Setbacks that would have immobilized the "old Brian," the Brian at the start of the novel, later become manageable. He learns to control his temper when he realizes that his frustration and hopelessness does not help his family situation. He learns theirs nothing he can do but he knows he's gonna have to live with it. Once Brian learned that he could do nothing he started worrying about some more important things like how he was going to eat and about his safety

Answers

Answer:

Only for body paragraph 1:

In the beginning, Brian was scared and didn't know how to take care of himself, he didn't have anything else to rely on except for him and a hatchet. Brian would continuously think about his mother's affair which would distract him and took his mind off of things that were more important like his safety or how he was going to find a way to get food. When Brian first entered the woods he was terrified, cold, and in pain. The text also gives us evidence that he was also very weak due to the accident with the plane crash, which affected him harshly, the crash prevented him from walking without pain. For example, just by walking around the back of the ridge and the slight climb over the top would leave Brian's legs rubbery. Eventually Brian began to get accustomed to the status quo and was able to face any challenge that would come his way in the wild.

Read this excerpt from "It's My Constitutional Right!"

The officer ordered her to get up. Again Claudette refused. He returned to the driver and explained that as a transit policeman he lacked the authority to make an arrest. The doors closed behind him as he stepped down into the street and the bus pulled away again. One block north, at the intersection of Bibb and Commerce streets, a squad car was waiting. This time, when the Highland Gardens bus door opened, two Montgomery city policemen climbed aboard. Passengers held their breath.

CLAUDETTE: One of them said to the driver in a very angry tone, "Who is it?" The motorman pointed at me. I heard him say, "That's nothing new . . . I've had trouble with that 'thing' before." He called me a "thing." They came to me and stood over me and one said, "Aren't you going to get up?" I said, "No, sir." He shouted "Get up" again. I started crying, but I felt even more defiant. I kept saying over and over, in my high-pitched voice, "It's my constitutional right to sit here as much as that lady. I paid my fare, it's my constitutional right!" I knew I was talking back to a white policeman, but I had had enough.

What differences can be found when contrasting the mood of the third-person account with that of Claudette's first-person account?

A. The mood of the third-person account is less emotional and more matter-of-fact. The mood of Claudette's account is more emotional and heated.
B. The mood of the third-person account is less emotional and more matter-of-fact. The mood of Claudette's account is more emotional and joyous.
C. The mood of the third-person account is more emotional and heated. The mood of Claudette's account is less emotional and more matter-of-fact.
D. The mood of the third-person account is more emotional and dramatic. The mood of Claudette's account is less emotional and more detailed.

What led Ramilisonina to suggest a very different purpose for Stonehenge than other archaeologists had thought?

Answers

Answer:

She recalled that in Madagascar there was a custom of creating houses for the dead that matched the houses for the living. In this case, she thought that Stonehenge could be related to the concept of promoting a place for the dead, so that in a way, they remain in contact with the living.

Explanation:

For Ramilisonina, Stonehenge was built to signal the dead to a place destined for them, where they would be welcomed and could keep in touch with the living. This is because Stonehenge is connected to the south circle, which is the place where the living settled and it was a custom of ancient civilizations in madagascar, to create a place of habitation for the dead that matches the place where the living settled.

This is an example of a failure of deductive reasoning.

Explanation:

Deductive reasoning is one that first analyzes two premises to reach a conclusion. If the text shown in the question above were an example of deductive reasoning done correctly, we should read: "we do not know B, nor C and therefore we cannot say that they are equal to A."

However, we see the narrator of the text presenting conclusions without evaluating the premises, presenting a false conclusion. This is an example of inductive reasoning failure.
