Does the article have a conclusion?

2: Yes it introduces the topic. The topic is growing your own vegetables.
3: Yes. The introduction shows that the author thinks people should grow their own vegetables.
4: No the introduction does not include a hook statement. The introduction is not in any way interesting to the reader and does not have any strong or interesting points.
5: Yes the paragraphs make a key point. The key point is about our health and the planets health.
6: Paragraph 4. That is only opinion and has no examples or facts to support what they’ve written.
7: Paragraph 4. Paragraph 3 describes the benefits of planting our own vegetables; an argument. Paragraph 4 is just a short, not particularly important point to the argument.
8: Yes the article has a conclusion. Paragraph 5 is the conclusion that just explains the authors standpoint and encourages the reader.
9: Not really. The conclusion is just encouraging the reader and is not particularly summarising their beliefs. All the conclusion says is that the reader should “get their gardening gloves on”.
10: Yes. The conclusion emphasises the writers views by encouraging the reader and describing what you should do to grow your own vegetables; emphasising the authors views.

Brainstorming

First draft

Editing

Revising
I’m not sure if this is exactly what you’re asking for but for your first draft I recommend writing 5 paragraphs about your topic. I am in set 1 English and my teacher told me to write the introduction first; what is the topic about? Who is it by? Give a very brief description of what the piece is about.
Always when starting a new paragraph use the words firstly, secondly, thirdly and finally.
For the second paragraph write about structure e.g if it’s poetry write about how many stanzas. I’m not sure what you are writing about but include what the writing sounds like when read aloud; does reading aloud give emphasis on certain words of phrases? Describe how the way it’s written affects the readers experience.
Next, write about mood and atmosphere. Talk about the words and mood of the story; how do adjectives etc add to the story? Does the mood change throughout? Are the words used pleasant or solemn? This will get you lots of marks, especially if you describe how they effect you.
Paragraph 4 would be how the writing effects you. If you’ve already written that in p3 then don’t worry. Either way, mention personal experiences and feelings and link them to the writing.
Paragraph 5 would be your conclusion. This is only a short paragraph including a brief summary and how you feel about the writing; e.g “the overall mood of ..... is ...... and has the desired effect on the reader”.
For editing just write the 1st draft and then I’d wait a day or 2 and then go back and change some words for more professional or better words/phrases. You’ll find this quite easy.
For revising I’d say just read other people’s essays on the topic. Reading other people’s notes and thoughts on the subject will help get you marks as you’ll have many perspectives and ideas.
Brainstorming is pretty much just writing out sentences/words from what you’ve already written and what other people have said.

Someone told me, "your self-esteem is high to put your picture into a profile pic" i'm sorry to ask but what does that mean

Answers

Answer:

A lot of people don't put their actual face in their profile pic, either due to preferences or because they don't like their face. The thing is that putting your actual face on your profile pic will expose your face to whoever sees your profile, so you'd have to have the confidence to show everyone on the internet your face like that. Personally, I don't put my face in my profile, because I don't like any pictures of my face. It's all relative to your own opinion though, so don't worry about it too much.
