The correct answer is A) the boycott of British goods by American merchants.
The most immediately effective protest against the Stamp Act was the boycott of British goods by American merchants.
The American colonists were really angry with the English crown for the many heavy taxations imposed on the colonies. The Stamp Act was one of the many taxations that were injust. That is why the American people reacted promptly boycotting English goods.
Heavy taxation such as the Stamp Act, the Sugar Acts, the Navigations, Acts, the Tea Acts, and many more, were causes of the beginning of the Revolutionary War of Independence against the British troops. Another big problem was the fact that colonists had no voice or representation in the British Parliament.

Which of the following would be the most likely to disagree with
imperialism?
5 point
President Theodore Roosevelt
Someone associated with jingoism or aggressive nationalism.
Someone who reads Rudyard Kipling's poem "White Man's Burden" and agrees with it.
Queen Liliuokalani
Answer: Queen Liliuokalani
Explanation:
Imperialism refers to the use of military force or otherwise to increase the influence and control a country wields on other countries. It was a very dominant policy in the 18th century amongst Western powers like Britain and France.
Queen Liliuokalani would most likely disagree with Imperialism because she lost her kingdom to it. Queen Liliuokalani was the last monarch of the independent Hawaiian Kingdom until she was deposed in a coup by mostly Americans and Europeans and then this was enforced by US Marines. Hawaii was formally annexed a couple of years afterward.
Had it not been for imperialism, Queen Liliuokalani would have remained queen so she would probably disagree with the policy.

What is Siddhartha Gautama known for?The founder of Buddhism, Siddhartha Gautama, sometimes referred to as "the Buddha," lived in the fifth century B.C. As a prince, Gautama was born into a prosperous family in modern-day Nepal. According to Buddhist legend, he was born to royal Shakya clan parents in Lumbini, present-day Nepal, but abandoned his home life to live as a travelling ascetic (Sanskrit: ramaa).
In what is now India, at Bodh Gaya, he reached enlightenment after living a life of begging, penance, and meditation. After that, the Buddha travelled the lower Indo-Gangetic Plain, giving lectures and establishing monastic orders. He advocated for a middle path that avoids extreme asceticism while still allowing for sensuous enjoyment, ultimately to Nirvana, or the escape from ignorance, yearning, reincarnation, and sorrow.

How did the French Revolution lead to the Haitian Revolution?
How did the American Revolution lead to the French Revolution?
How was the French Revolution a “revolution” in that it brought about radical change?
Answer:
The French Revolution influenced many subsequent revolutions, including the Haitian Revolution, because it represented the desire for structural change within society and governance and inspired others to equally desire freedom. It raised questions about the rights naturally granted to humankind and the extent to which liberty must coexist with any form of governance. The French Revolution was characterised by the overdue necessity of change... this necessity did not only apply to the French populace but also to Haiti. Thus, its success served as an inspirational event for future calls to change, progress, and liberty.

Open a door to eternal tyranny
Form a new government
A government of our own is our natural right: And when a man seriously reflects on the precariousness of human affairs, he will become convinced, that it is infinitely wiser and safer, to form a constitution of our own in a cool deliberate manner, while we have it in our power, than to trust such an interesting event to time and chance . . . Ye that oppose independence now, ye know not what ye do; ye are opening a door to eternal tyranny, by keeping vacant the seat of government. In ancient and modern times, stealing and making false accusations are both against the law. However, the punishments then and now are very different. Modern law in the United States would never put someone to death for such small crimes. Also, ancient societies did not enforce a law equally for all people. How a law was enforced had to do with the person’s status in the society. In the United States, everyone is equal in the eyes of the law.

explain the main reason why the Five Civilized Tribes were the most successful at assimilation
Five Civilized Tribes, term that has been used officially and unofficially since at least 1866 to designate the Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek, and Seminole Indians in Oklahoma (former Indian Territory). Beginning in 1874, they were dealt with as a single body by the Bureau of Indian Affairs of the U.S. Department of Interior, but there has never been any unification or overall organization of these tribes under that name.

The word civilized was applied to the five tribes because, broadly speaking, they had developed extensive economic ties with whites or had assimilated into American settler culture. Some members of these southeastern tribes had adopted European clothing, spoke English, practiced Christianity, and even owned slaves. In 1821 the Cherokee developed a written language, and by 1828 the Cherokee Phoenix, the first Native American newspaper, began publication. The Cherokee also established a strong central government with a constitution based on the U.S. constitution.
The Indian Removal Act of 1830 authorized Pres. Andrew Jackson to accelerate the westward movement of Europeans by relocating Indian tribes to unsettled land west of the Mississippi River. While the act had explicitly provided for the purchase of land from willing parties, the Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek, and Seminole had little desire to leave their established communities to begin anew beyond the frontier. When faced with forced removal, the Cherokee used the American federal court system to press their claims against the state of Georgia. Although the Supreme Court twice ruled in favour of the Cherokee nation, Georgia ignored the ruling, and Jackson is said to have declared privately, “[Chief Justice] John Marshall has made his decision, now let him enforce it.”

Challenged by a U.S. government that refused to respect Indian property rights or the rulings of its own judiciary, the so-called Five Civilized Tribes were left with few options. The Seminole waged a prolonged and costly guerrilla war, but most of the tribe ultimately emigrated to the west. The process of forced removal came to be known as the Trail of Tears due to the unnecessary death and hardship that characterized it. The survivors were relocated to large adjoining tracts of land in the eastern part of Indian Territory. Here they maintained a significant degree of autonomy over their internal affairs until 1907. Each organized as a “nation,” with a written constitution and laws, and a republican government modeled on that of the U.S., consisting of an executive department (headed by an elected principal chief or governor), a bicameral legislature, and a judiciary with elected judges and trial by jury. Public school systems were instituted, in part supported by tribal funds and in part provided by Christian church missionaries.

During the American Civil War most tribes were divided between supporters of the Union and the Confederacy, providing soldiers for each army. Their territories were depopulated and devastated. Before this time, and especially following the reorganization of each nation after the war, economic and educational progress was rapid, and distinctive fusions of Indian and Anglo-American cultures developed.
When transcontinental railroads were built through Indian Territory and the settlement of adjoining states increased, the Five Civilized Tribes lost their independence. Between 1893 and 1907 (when Oklahoma became a state) the U.S. government forced the allotment of the tribal lands to individual, enrolled tribal members (including freedmen, former slaves of the Indians) and abrogated the national governments. Former tribal land was opened to white settlement, and many Indian allottees lost their land through unscrupulous practices. The tribal governments have continued in modified form to the present, but with significantly less sovereignty; all tribal members are full citizens of Oklahoma and the United States. The Bureau of Indian Affairs provides some services for enrolled tribal members, but no reservation system is in effect.
