Answer 1

Answer:

Almost every thing you do affects your health whether it's a healthy improvement or not. just depends on what you do. eating healthy is one of the things I try get into a habit with. when you eat healthy it strengthens your bones, helps you grow, etc. I also try to do this because it can have some serious repercussions on your health. another thing I tend to do alot is excersizing. it's a really good thing for every to get into the habit of doing. it helps you stay in shape. not only that but if you dont start exercising earlier on you can have some more consequences. if you dont excersize, later on in your life it can take toll. one of the major things is your bones becoming weak. when this happens your bones break easier, no one wants that. these are some of my habits and its affect on my health.

Recall the three layers of muscles in the wall of the heart. Which lists these muscles in order from closest to the blood inside the chamber to farthest from the blood?
epicardium, myocardium, endocardium
myocardium, endocardium, epicardium
endocardium, myocardium, epicardium
endocardium, epicardium, myocardium

Answers

Answer:

The correct order in which the three layers of the heart meet, from the inside to the farthest from the blood is endocardium, myocardium and epicardium.

Explanation:

The three layers that make up the walls of the heart are called, from the innermost to the outermost endocardium, myocardium and pericardium.

Endocardium is made up of specialized epithelium, called the endothelium. It covers the internal chambers of the heart, as well as the valves. Myocardium is the muscular layer that allows the contractile and pumping function of the heart. It is a type of muscle fiber similar to striated muscle, but called cardiac muscle fiber. Epicardium is the outermost layer, formed by epithelial tissue attached to the outer portion of the myocardium. It constitutes the visceral sheet of the pericardium.

The three layers of the heart have a specific purpose and are necessary for the normal functioning of this vital organ.

How many calories do you consume daily? How many do you need based on your lifestyle? Why do you think it is important to understand caloric balance to achieve nutritional goals related to health and fitness and exercise?

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:

I consume around 2000 calories on a given day. Sometimes it is closer to 1800 and sometimes it is closer to 2200 but on average every day in a week I consume 2000 calories daily. For my lifestyle, I need 2000 every day to maintain my muscle mass and not gain fat mass. It is important to understand how to properly plan out our nutrition and to know what we are eating. This doesn't need to be for some fitness goal of losing weight or gaining muscle but for general health too. It helps to know how much fat you should eat how much protein and what type of sugars do you ingest.

Does Hill’s suggestion of being a weekday vegetarian seem reasonable? Why or why not? Do you find his argument convincing?

Answers

Answer:

I find it to be somewhat reasonable because even if you don’t want to commit to being a full-time vegetarian, you can still have 2 days to eat meat and then go back to being vegetarian for the other 5 days. It helps you ease into the lifestyle. Because of that, I find his argument relatively convincing.
