Marathon Accomplishment Recap

QuickWrite: Gutting it out Sometimes we choose to difficult things—or even thrings that make us miserable—because we think that they will serve some greater purpose. Discuss (in writing) a time when you challenged yourself to accomplish something difficult. Why did you do it? Was it worth it? make up something random
One time, I challenged myself to run a marathon. I had never been a runner, but I wanted to push myself to see what I was capable of. I trained for months, putting in long hours and pushing through the pain.
I did it because I wanted to prove to myself that I could accomplish something difficult, and to show that with hard work and determination, anything was possible. The training was grueling, but the sense of accomplishment I felt when I crossed the finish line made it all worth it.
I learned that the things in life that are worth having are often the things that we have to work the hardest for. The sense of pride and accomplishment I felt after finishing that marathon has stayed with me and motivated me to take on new challenges.
In the end, gutting it out and pushing through the difficult times was worth it because it helped me grow as a person and gave me the confidence to tackle anything that comes my way.

what is the best objective summary of the quest of the silver fleece
Answer:
Originally published in 1911, The Quest of the Silver Fleece was the first novel to come from world-famous sociologist and civil-rights leader W.E.B. Du Bois. A controversial title of its time, the novel chronicles the complex interactions between Northern financing and Southern politics as it follows the story of free-spirited Zora, child of a Southern swamp, and her romance with Yankee-educated Bles, who will eventually face the opportunity to claim political power through corrupt means. In the middle of it all is the silver fleece, a crop of cotton rich with meaning and symbolism.
In the tradition of other incendiary novels that explore market forces at the turn of the century, such as Frank Norris’s The Pit and Upton Sinclair’s The Jungle, The Quest of the Silver Fleece was seen as an “economic study” by Du Bois, yet it was also a romantic and otherwordly saga, loosely based on the Greek myth from which it takes its name. Using literary conventions to expose and oppose America’s views on race, Du Bois presents a sprawling and provocative work that continues to engage readers and inspire debate among literary scholars today.

CMP vs BMP Beans? When to use each one?
Answer:
Explanation:
CMP (Central American, Mexican, and Peruvian) beans and BMP (Brazilian, Colombian, and other Mild) beans are two broad categories of coffee beans that are commonly used in specialty coffee. Both CMP and BMP beans have unique flavor profiles, and the choice between them often depends on personal preference and the desired taste in the final cup of coffee.
CMP beans are typically known for their bright, citrusy, and floral notes. These beans are grown at higher elevations in Central America, Mexico, and Peru, which leads to slower maturation of the cherries and results in higher acidity and complexity in the beans. CMP beans are often used to create light to medium roast coffees and are preferred by those who enjoy brighter, fruitier, and more acidic coffees.
On the other hand, BMP beans are known for their balanced and smooth flavor profile, with lower acidity and a fuller body. These beans are often grown at lower altitudes in countries like Brazil and Colombia, which results in a quicker maturation of the cherries and a lower acidity level in the beans. BMP beans are often used to create medium to dark roast coffees and are preferred by those who enjoy a well-rounded, full-bodied coffee with lower acidity.
In summary, if you prefer a brighter, fruitier coffee with higher acidity, you may want to choose CMP beans. If you prefer a more balanced, full-bodied coffee with lower acidity, BMP beans may be a better choice. However, both types of beans can be used to create a range of coffee flavors and can be enjoyable in their own way.
