Which term of the agreement did Britain not follow, which led to the War of 1812?

Britain continued to battle with American ships at sea.
Britain did not remove its troops from the United States.
Britain refused to release the prisoners of war it was holding captive.
Britain did not deliver exports that had been promised to the Americans.

Answers

Answer:

The best response of the options provided is: "Britain continued to battle with American ships at sea."

Explanation:

Britain had been using a naval blockade in order to prevent trade with France, and the United States felt this was a violation of international law. To man the blockade, Britain pressed merchant sailors into the Royal Navy, including Americans using a called impressment. There was one event in particular called the Chesapeake–Leopard affair where a British ship boarded a US frigate looking for deserters from the Royal Navy. The British Royal Navy had been capturing American sailors who were British-born or who had once worked on British vessels to join the Royal Navy even if they were now American citizens. This tension led to an economic standoff between the USA and the UK called the Embargo Act of 1807 and ultimately lead to the War of 1812.

The industrial revolution has had many positive effects on society, but also many negative ones. In a two paragraph essay, you will describe the pros and cons of industrialization, in your own words. Each paragraph should be at least five to six sentences long. The first paragraph should describe the positive effects, while the second paragraph should describe the negative effects. Make sure to use correct spelling and proper grammar.

Answers

Answer: The industrial revolution fundamentally changed everyday life.

Explanation:

The industrial revolution has positive effects on society. It has made people's work much easier. People were much more productive thanks to the involvement of machines in production. The amount of food increased significantly and was more accessible. Also, thanks to steam engines, people traveled much faster and thus gained time.

The industrial revolution also had negative effects, especially when it came to workers. The workers had no rights; they worked twelve or even sixteen hours a day. There was no adequate protection at work, so injuries were frequent. Workers who suffered serious injuries and were unable to work would often be left to fend for themselves. Also, the early Industrial Revolution did not respect any environmental regulations in industrial plants. Environmental pollution was common.

Based on the religions and beliefs of the world, God created humans. He created the universes, He created the worlds, He created everything. People ask what the meaning of life is, but why ask that when we don't even know why God created life in the first place? Why would God, the greatest being there is, create humans, when He could create stronger, smarter, and better creatures? Why even create anything at all? And who created HIM?

Answers

The answer depends on the religion you follow.
Based on mine
Our brains cannot function at 100% so some questions we ask we cannot fathom the answer, like how god was created or how he created the universe, angels, humans, and devils.
Why were humans created. The same reason angels were created to serve god. However humans were made uniquely as they can unlike angels use free will. They can choose to be good or choose to be bad like the story of cain and abel. God could have created us stronger, smarter, and 100% righteous but then how different would we be from angels. Why is there bad when god can just get rid of it, if god always interfered why would be given free will. Looking at it from that retrospect this world isn’t for enjoyment it’s a test. A test to see which path we follow wether it is good or bad. This life is finite, everything good we experience on earth is temporary and everything bad is also temporary. So yes we can try to make everything 100% logical and some even leave religion as a hole. But to me I’d rather follow a way of life, a life of boundaries having me commit to leading the good way of life. Because if this life is temporary why get attached when I can have a hope of an afterlife where everything is immortal and all is good. Just as we go to school to get an education, and teachers teach us the basics we need to graduate. We live this life as a test to see which life we lead, and religion teaches us the basics we need to lead a good life straying from the bad so that we may graduate to the afterlife.

How does the metropolis allow urban individuals more autonomy and flexibility to define themselves without the cultural pressures found in smaller communities?

Answers

Answer:

Rural communities are more burdened with traditions and conventional thinking. Metropolises allow for more freedom from community conventions because of the number of residents and the diversity of viewpoints.

Explanation:

In the more canonical approaches to sociology,  it is believed that cultural pressures are stronger in smaller communities, particularly in the work of  scholars like Georg Simmel, for example, and in urban sociology. For Simmel, rural life was limiting to individual thinking and rational thought because rural life was burdened with a lot of close, personal relationships that tended to perpetuate traditions that were resistant to individualism and change.  However urban environments were more liberating in the sense there was more social alienation from community standards and social control. The city and urban environments afford a lot of anonymity.  Simmel for example believed that urban life transforms the psyche of a person irreversibly where they become more detached from social conventions and more individualistic in their thinking.

2.
3. committee debates and edit the bill
4.
5. the state senate approves the bill
6.

Answers

Answer:

1. Have an Idea.

The first step in creating a new law -- or revising an existing law -- is to have an idea of how we can make our country stronger or better. This idea can come from anywhere, including from you!

2. Write a Bill.

After identifying the problem, Members of Congress work to create a law that provides a solution. Sometimes, they will work together to jointly introduce legislation with other Senators. Senators can also collaborate with members of the House of Representatives on legislation so that identical or very similar bills are introduced in both the House and the Senate.

3. Debate in Committee

When a bill is introduced, the Senate Parliamentarian is responsible for deciding which Committee should review the legislation. The chair of the committee may decide to hold a hearing in order to examine the legislation. During a hearing, committee members invite policy experts, agency representatives, and other stakeholders to testify on how the bill will affect the country.

4. Debate on the Senate Floor

After being voted upon favorably by a committee, the bill is referred to the full Senate for a vote. Here, the Majority Leader of the Senate is responsible for deciding when to bring up a piece of legislation for a vote and what type of vote it needs.

5. Work with House Colleagues

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives is responsible for introducing and voting on a companion bill of its own. Just like in the Senate, when a bill is introduced in the House, the House Parliamentarian is responsible for assigning that legislation to a specific House committee or committees for further deliberation.

6. Negotiate Compromises in Conference

Often times, the Senate bill and the House bill will have minor differences in their respective bills that have to be worked out before each chamber can approve the final legislative text and then send it to the President to be signed into law.

7. Send it to the President for a signature

After the conference committee resolves any differences between the House and Senate versions of the bill, each chamber must vote again to approve the final bill text. Once each chamber has approved the bill, the legislation is sent to the President. The President then makes the decision of whether to sign the bill into law or not. If the President signs the bill, it becomes a law. If the President refuses to sign it, the bill does not become a law. When the President refuses to sign the bill, the result is called a veto. Congress can try to overrule a veto. To do this, both the Senate and the House must vote to overrule the President’s veto by a two-thirds majority.

8. Reauthorization

Some laws, especially laws that appropriate funding to new programs, include provisions that require Congress to decide, after a set period of time, whether the legislation is effective and should be renewed, or “reauthorized”. To do this, a new bill must be introduced that renews the provisions of the law, makes any necessary changes to the original law, and offers a new timeline for how long it is active.
