The coconut is an unusual food for many reasons. It is technically a seed, produced by the coconut palm tree, and as such is one of the largest edible seeds produced by any plant. Its unusual contents also make it unique in the seed world-the interior consists of both "meat and water. The meat is the white pith with which we are all familiar as it is used extensively for cooking and flavorings the coconut water is a white liquid that is very sweet and thirst quenching
Portuguese explorers gave the nut its name in the 15th century, referring to it as coco, meaning ghost in their language. The three dimples and the hairy texture reminded them of a ghost's face, and the tree has retained that name ever since The coconut has many varied uses. It is used to make margarine, as well as various cooking oils, and these cooking oils are used by fast-food restaurants around the world to make such diet staples as French fries. The coconut fluid is a favorite drink in hot climates, providing a cool and refreshing beverage right off the tree. This water is also used by manufacturers of various sports drinks because of its isotonic electrolyte properties. Even the shell itself has many uses, including cattle food and fertilizer
Yet the coconut is also useful in many ways that have nothing to do with food. Coconut oil is used for cosmetics, medicines, and can even be used in place of diesel fuel. Dried coconut shells are used in many countries as a tool, such as a buffer for shining wood floors
The shells are also used for shirt buttons, and are commonly found on Hawaiian clothing. They are even used for musical instruments and bird houses! And all these are only some of the uses found for the coconut fruit. The coconut palm tree, which produces the nut, also produces countless useful items. It's no wonder that the coconut palm has been called the tree of life

I was in shock when I heard from my social studies teacher that there are similarities between North and South Korea. All my life, I thought that the number of differences between the two countries would make it impossible for them to be alike in any other way. I even researched the countries and couldn't believe the number of similarities I found about them. I even found out that both countries used to be one country before the year 1948. it turns out that the government and economy of the north and south Korea are indeed different, but there are some similarities between the countries, such as culture when you think about it.
Sometimes governments can separate countries from each other and bring countries to each other; an example of bringing the two countries together is that both south and north Korea gained independence on August 15, 1945, from japan. Simultaneously, examples of separating the two countries from each other are that North Korea's government is rigorous and almost controls everything, including investment, trade, visitors, internet, religion, traffic, and food/clothing. On the other hand, South Korea's government is not strict, and their economy is multiplying. When it comes to a country's government, nothing can change one country's relationship with another country, especially when the government breaks them apart.
Occasionally, there are some differences in the economy between north and south Korea, but that never means that there will not be some similarities. For instance, north and south Korea are active in investing from other countries, and both countries have an electronics industry. Some diversity between the two countries is that the government entirely plans north Korea also only china and Russia are allowed to invest in North Korea on a tiny scale; another thing that differs them is that North Korea has industries that consist: electronics, telecommunications, chemicals, shipbuilding, and steel. While in the meantime, South Korea has sectors that consist: military products, machine building, electric power, textiles, tourism, and automobile production. South Korea also has a robust economy and is very famous for exports of cars, ships, computers, and other electronics. in conclusion, how many differences between the two countries' economies can never stop the similarities between them appear.
When it comes to culture, North and South Korea have similarities but also have differences. For instance, both north and south Korea celebrate the same holidays/festivals; they have taekwondo as a popular traditional sport and the handbok, the Korean national costume. Yet in North Korea, citizens are taught to worship Kim sung while in South Korea; Confucius strongly influences citizens; Confucius is known as the first teacher in China who wanted to make education broadly available and instrumental in establishing the art of teaching vocation. He also set ethical, moral, and social standards that formed a way of life known as Confucianism. Even though there are some similarities, there can always be differences that come from a culture.
There is no doubting that there arent any differences and similarities between north and south Korea's government, economy, and culture. Government shows you what and how something goes through in a country; the government also offers you many differences and a few similarities between the two countries. While the economy shows you what industries there are and what rank their country is in, it also shares some differences and similarities. On the other hand, culture explains what beliefs a country has and its traditions; culture also compares many things and contrasts a few things.

When Jacquelin is reading her essay to her peers, you will discover that she will point out the issue of how some young people hate going to the doctor's office. Most children hate being injected. Which of the following can be included in the term setting?
A. details of the place where a story happens
B. the time in which story events happen
C. values of the society in which a story happens
D. all of the above
Answer: A
Explanation: Hope this helps :)
Answer:
D - all of the above
Explanation:
The reason it would be all of the above is because even the values of a society can create a setting.
Details of a place obviously create settings because if you have details of a prison that has been broken down, etc. it can create a mysterious — or even a creepy atmosphere.
Next we know that a time can create a setting because it is the SETTING.
Lastly, to cover the values of a society. Let’s say a society discribed follows a strict ruling. They must follow these rules to a finite detail. That can create a restricting or imprisoning atomosphere — which is...
Take a guess.
A setting.
I hope that helps! :)
