Heart and lung endurance or cardiovascular endurance is the ability to exercise the entire body for long periods of time. It requires a strong heart, healthy lungs, and clear blood vessels to supply the body with oxygen. Activities to improve fitness in this area include running, swimming and aerobic dance. A person must do the activity continuously for a minimum of 20 minutes within their target heart rate zone. Endurance/cardiovascular activity should be done a minimum of 3 days per week. Every other day is preferable. The mile or the pacer will measure fitness testing in this area.

Muscular Strength is the amount of force you can put forth with your muscles. It is often measured by how much weight you can lift. People with strength have fewer problems with backaches and can carry out their daily tasks efficiently. Examples of muscular strength include push-ups, weight lifting heavy weight with few repetitions, and pull-ups. Fitness testing will be measured by doing push-ups.

Muscular Endurance is the ability to use the muscles, which are attached to the bones, many times without getting tired. People with good muscular endurance are likely to have better posture, have fewer back problems, and be better able to resist fatigue than people who lack muscular endurance. You can improve muscular endurance by lifting weights with many repetitions or doing sit-ups. Measuring the number of sit-ups you can do correctly is used for fitness testing.

Flexibility is the ability to use your joints fully. You are flexible when the muscles are long enough and the joints are free enough to allow movement. People with good flexibility
have fewer sore and injured muscles. Stretching before and after activities will help to improve flexibility. The sit-and-reach and the trunk lift are two tests used to measure flexibility.

Body Composition is the percentage of body weight that is fat compared to other body tissue, such as bone and muscle. People who have a high percentage of fat are more likely to be ill and have a higher death rate than lean people. Exercise and eating the right foods in the proper amounts can improve body composition. Body composition can be measured using an instrument called calipers, a specialized scale, or it can be calculated by using the body mass index (BMI) which uses height and weight to determine your BMI.

Cardiorespiratory endurance is considered the most important component of health-related fitness because the functioning of the heart and lungs is so essential to overall wellness.
Answer 2

The five zones of human fitness are flexibility, body composition, cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular strength, and muscular endurance.

What is fitness?

Fitness is characterized by the capacity to carry out daily tasks with optimum efficiency, perseverance, and vigor while managing disease, fatigue, and stress and engaging in less sedentary behavior.

Physical activity encourages good health, and regardless of the body type or BMI, one should keep active across the whole of the life.

The range of movement around the joint is referred to as flexibility.

Body Composition: This makes reference to how much fat, muscle, bone, and liquid you have in your body.Cardio-Respiratory Endurance: The capability to keep up physical activity over time.Muscular Strength: The level of pressure the muscles can produce in a single effort.Muscular Endurance: The potential of the muscle to make movement without tiring.

Thus, these are the dimensions of human fitness.

Drug abuse can be characterized by all of the following except

A. inability to focus on schoolwork and home responsibilities
B. legal problems cause by drug possession
C. physical harm to yourself because of drug use
D. withdrawal symptoms when you cannot access your choice drug

Answers

Answer: im not sure but i think it would be c

because all the other ones would be signs too

Drug abuse can be characterized by all of the following except physical harm to yourself because of drug use. Therefore option C is correct.

"Physical harm to yourself because of drug use," is not an accurate characterization of drug abuse. While drug abuse can certainly lead to physical harm in the long term, it is not a defining characteristic.

The other options, A, B, and D, are commonly associated with drug abuse. Inability to focus on responsibilities, legal problems due to drug possession, and experiencing withdrawal symptoms when unable to access drugs are often seen as consequences or signs of drug abuse.

Therefore option C physical harm to yourself because of drug use is correct.

He has $340 in child support withheld from his wages every month. Shawnta works part time and is attending community college to become a nurse. Shawnta depends on the child support from Juan to pay for child care and other monthly bills. Two months ago Juan got laid off and hasn’t been able to find another job. Without money for child care, Shawnta has been missing some of her classes. Juan has begun to receive past-due notices from the child support office. He wants to pay but doesn’t have the money. He’s stopped spending time with Lia because he’s embarrassed about not having any money. Shawnta is frustrated with Juan because he’s not providing any money and not spending time with Lia.
