i wrote these poems and looking for feedback. please comment suggestions on how i can make them better.

(when typing the lines often where to long, so i put parentheses around the lines that went over one line on this but are one line.)

twins

(we have shared everything)
since before birth.
never just one,
forever known as two.

we will never know the joy
(of having our own birthday,)
for it will always be shared

(years later they will realize,)
we they once compared
(are different as summer and winter. theyll see)
(different people standing before them)
not the same person
they all expect us to be.

skittles

“i love you” i said
(“happy birthday and merry christmas”)
“i will miss you”

he mumbled a reply
(he tried his best, that i know for sure)
(“i love you” is what i'm sure he said)

(through the tears, i smiled back)
(not wanting him to see my pain)
(it was nothing compared to his)

(i put my hand on his, still holding back the tears)
(he was fighting hard, but it wasn't enough)
(i said goodbye once more and left the room)

(i went upstairs where everyone was sitting silent)
all doing as i was,
holding back the tears

(then after what felt like hours we had to go)
(the weight was to much, i was just a kid)
(i went downstairs and said my last goodbye)

(i went out the door with a heavy heart knowing it could be the last thing i say)
(“skittles” i said pointing to a parked car)
(he looks, smiles, and mumbles what i know to be “skittles”)

(i walk past the yellow car and think back to happier times)
(i climb into my dads truck, leaving my mom with her dad)
still silent, we pulled away

(i had fun with my cousins trying to forget about everything,)
but i can't
(i know it happened as soon as my dad answered the call.)

(still fighting back the tears, i smile and continue our game)
we left soon after
i knew what was coming

(we walked back into that door)
(into that room with an empty bed)
(my moms greets us and tells us what happened)

(it breaks my heart but still i smile through the pain)
(it's okay i thought, he's no longer suffering)
i kept telling myself that

(the rest of break was a blur)
i only cried at night
(i could not break my moms heart even more)

always

soon the door will close
on promises.
forever and always
will no longer prevail,
just give it time.

(relations once cherished and loved)
(will not last on a promise of always.)
(they will get ripped apart and go their separate ways.)

you will never be ready.
(the always you once believed,)
(will prove to come to an end. )

(the importance lies not in the promise, )
but in the memories.
hold on to them -
before it takes again.

thank you :)
i hope you like them

With pink roses

WILL MARK BRAINLIEST

Answers

Answer:

A man who is going on a date with a girl he loves... one problem, he forgot a present!

Explanation:

THIS IS ORIGINAL

                                               The Gift

There is a girl I love...

when together we soar like two doves.

But here I am,

bearing no gift.

What a man I am,

I must run and catch the lift.

I need to scram,

for if not she will drift.

I need to get something fast!

Oh my love,

you are a never ending task!

Here I am now at the store,

nothing catches my eyes.

I cannot fail my dear,

oh that is my greatest fear!

I see some pretty flowers,

but none that would throw her off her toes.

Than I see the pink roses.

Ah yes, there they grow.

Oh how much they glow!

Now quick to my love,

I must hurry.

Oh no, my glove,

never mind that, before anyone begins to worry!

There!

I made it.

The pink roses are a symbol of my love,

but now I am on one knee with tears in my eyes.

Hopefully the answer comes soon I wouldn't want to feel unloved.

When she says yes, I give her a ring.

A pink ring in the shape of a rose.

Now we shall soar,

forever.

Because of our love,

like two doves.

what are the answers & how to solve

Answers

Answer: [tex]\sqrt{5}[/tex]

Explanation:

To solve this, first check to see if the radicands are simplified.

Radicands are the expressions inside the radical symbol.

In this case, we have "20", "45", and "5".

To simplify a radicand, reduce the number to its factors:

20 = 2 * 2 * 5

45 = 3 * 3 * 5

5 = 5

Any factor that appears twice can be simplified by removing it from the radicand and placing it on the left of the radical. For example:

[tex]\sqrt{90} = \sqrt{3 * 3 * 5 * 2} = 3\sqrt{5 * 2}[/tex]

The simplified variant of the square root of 90 is three times the square root of 10.

So, using this method, the simplified versions of the square roots of 20 and 45 are:

[tex]2\sqrt{5}[/tex] and [tex]3\sqrt{5}[/tex].

Substituting these in the equation:

[tex]-2(2\sqrt{5}) + 2(3\sqrt{5}) -\sqrt{5}[/tex]

You can multiply the coefficients of the radicals like normal integers -

[tex]-4\sqrt{5} + 6\sqrt{5} -\sqrt{5}[/tex]

You can treat the square root of 5 as a variable and subtract the coefficients.

-4x + 6x - x = x

The answer is the square root of 5.

Hi there!

The American Crisis was so persuasive because these essays that make up this collection show what Thomas Paine’s vision was for a self-governing country. General Washington himself was very inspired by Paine’s work.

Which detail in the poem best conveys the speaker's feeling of low confidence when expressing his feelings of love?

I Hid My Love

by John Clare (adapted excerpt)

I hid my love when young till I

Couldn't bear the buzzing of a fly;

I hid my love to my despite

Till I could not bear to look at light:

I dare not gaze upon her face

But left her memory in each place;

Where'er I saw a wild flower lie

I hugged and bade my love good-bye.

I met her in the greenest dells,

Where dewdrops pearl the wood bluebells;

The lost breeze kissed her bright blue eye,

The bee kissed and went singing by,

A sunbeam found a passage there,

A gold chain round her neck so fair;

As secret as the wild bee's song

She lay there all the summer long.

I hid my love in field and town

Till e'en the breeze would knock me down;

The bees seemed singing ballads o'er,

The fly's bass turned a lion's roar;

And even silence found a tongue,

To haunt me all the summer long;

The riddle nature could not prove

Was nothing else but secret love.
