How do you feel when your parents are upset with you? Why do they become upset with you?
10 sentences or more

Answers

Answer 1

I feel annoyed most of the time. I only live with my dad because my mom and dad are divorced and my dad has custody for me but most of the time he blames me for stuff I didn't do and he is just really rude and is never really home. He usually blames me for stuff my 2 younger sisters did(samantha: 7 and megan: 11 and im 12) and my older sister mia(shes 13) and he's always comparing me to my oldest sister maya(shes 14) because she lives with our grandma and grandpa(mom's parents) and goes to private school. He also gets mad at me because I don't talk or like my stepmom(caroline:30) and my dads 33 I believe? He and caroline have a son whos 4 months and I don't really talk to him because he lives with our stepmom and I hate caroline a lot one of the reasons being that she had her baby shower on my birthday and my dad gave me 40 dollars the next day but didn't say sorry and neither did she and they could have done it any other day! But I think I should stop now cause I'm kinda rambling sorry.

Consider Madame Loisel’s journey in ""The Necklace"". What do you believe she was searching for in her life? Do you think she ever achieved her life’s purpose?

Answers

Considering Madame Loisel's journey in "The Necklace," the following is an example of a personal opinion on what she was searching for in life and whether she ever achieved it:

- Madame Loisel was probably searching for fulfillment in life. She most likely felt that there was something missing, something that would finally make her happy. And she believed that something to be money and possessions.

- I do not think she ever achieved her life's purpose. As a matter of fact, in a way, she lost her life because of her materialistic purposes. She lost her money, house, and youth because of a necklace she wore only once.

Madame Loisel is the main character in Guy de Maupassant's short story "The Necklace." She is a materialistic woman who is angry at her own situation in life.Madame Loisel is not poor at the beginning of the story, and she could very well be satisfied with her condition. However, she wants more. She wants fancy clothes and furniture. To attend a ball with her husband, she borrows a necklace from a wealthy friend believing it to made of diamonds. As soon as the party is over, she realizes she has lost the necklace.Instead of telling her friend the truth, she buys a new one to replace it. She spends 10 years of her life paying for the new necklace. At the end, she finally learns that the first necklace was a fake. All her struggles have been for nothing. All her vanity and materialism have only led to her ruin.In conclusion, Madame Loisel does not accomplish her purpose in life. Her purpose actually takes away her life.

The third paragraph mainly reveals that Don Quixote
O A. was part of a group of soldiers who tried to overthrow the king
B. reads so frequently that he is losing the ability to discern what is real and what is fantasy
C. argues with an educated person from the village
D. doesn't have strong opinions about specific knights, despite being interested in that period of chivalry

Answers

The paragraph reveals that Don Quixote reads so often that he is losing the ability to discern what is real and what is fanciful, as shown in option B.

We can arrive at this answer because:

Don Quixote was a nobleman with many responsibilities, but he abandoned all the obligations he had to surrender to his passion for chivalry. This happened because he isolated himself from the world to devote himself to reading chivalry novels. He read these texts so often that he began to apply them to reality, reaching the point of not knowing how to separate what was real and what was imaginary.

Don Quixote, got so involved with his readings and began to act as if he were in an illusory world where everything happens like in novels and reality and fiction are mixed.

MAIN IDEA:

Answers

A main idea is the central idea which a story is centered on and which the author wants the reader to learn or take away from.

With this in mind, a supporting detail is used to validate a claim to prove that a claim is indeed factual and can be verified.

For example, bringing statistical data to prove that for example, blacks have the most population in America to support a claim which states that.

Without bringing accurate data or information to validate the claim, the claim would be unverified. This shows that supporting details are very important when making use of argumentative essays or when a person is trying to persuade or convince.

What is Willie Bodega's vision for spanish harlem and what does julio think about Bodega's plans? Write an essay explaining your answer 3 paragraphs
In the book Bodega dreams

Answers

Explanation:

Willie Bodega, after whom the book is named, is the story’s antihero. In his youth, Bodega was an idealistic Young Lord activist who had grand plans for improving Spanish Harlem, a deeply impoverished neighborhood. He spent months unsuccessfully trying to file paperwork with City Hall to secure resources for the neighborhood. Now, he uses drug-dealing and other criminal activity to fund his activism. He pairs up with a savvy lawyer named Nazario, and together, they surreptitiously start buying up property in Spanish Harlem to secure affordable housing for the neighborhood’s Latinx residents. Bodega also helps many disenfranchised residents with rent, education costs, and employment. Bodega famously asks for nothing but people’s loyalty in return, because he believes that fostering loyalty among the community will help to build the solidarity that’s essential to achieve social empowerment. Julio and Sapo get involved with Bodega’s shady dealings early on in the story. Bodega, however, is blinded by his unrequited love for Blanca’s cousin Vera, who married a wealthy Cuban named John Vidal in her youth. Bodega’s attempts to get Vera back ultimately unravel his idealistic plans for the neighborhood. At the end of the story, Nazario—the man whom Vera really loves—betrays and kills Bodega. Despite his tragic demise, Bodega’s ideals and efforts to empower Spanish Harlem’s residents spread through the community. His dreams live on through the characters he helps out, most notably through Julio.
