The harlem Renaissance was an intellectual and cultural revival of African American music, dance, art, fashion, literature, theater and politics centered in Harlem , Manhattan and New York spaning the 1920 and 1930s

Answer 2

I do not think that any African American achievements of the 1920s were more important than the others. All of the achievements no matter how small contributed to the greater successes that they recorded years later.

The 1920s was a period of time in America when the Blacks were more vocal in demanding their rights.

They achieved a number of things during this period some of which are the;

Founding of the Zeta Phi Beta, a Black sorority in Howard University on January 16, 1920.The establishment of Binga State Bank in Chicago on January 3, 1921, mong others.

All of these were small strides that impacted significantly the freedom of the blacks.
