In my opinion, the United States of America was in the right to drop the bomb, as Japan was relentless with all of the other axis powers were dropping out of the war, Japan remained in the war and wouldn't stop fighting. Realistically Japan would have lost the war, but it was an act of partial revenge for the United States for Pearl Harbor.
